Facebook provides you with many ways to keep tabs on your friends, from reading real-time status updates posted by others to seeing notifications that a Facebook friend has changed his personal information.
Facebook also notifies all of your friends, when it's your birthday. If you would prefer that other users do not know your birthday information, then, you can hide your birthday information by accessing your Facebook profile settings.
The following steps works better on web browsers surfing facebook
1. Navigate to the Facebook homepage and log into your account.
2. Click "Edit My Profile" in the upper-left corner of the screen.
3. Click on the "Basic Information" tab on the left side of the screen.
4. Click on the box beneath the date entry boxes under the Birthday heading.
5. Click "Don't Show My Birthday in My Profile" in the drop-down menu that appears. Click "Save Changes" at the bottom of the screen when finished.
The following steps works fo Facebook mobile app
1. Navigate to your Facebook profile
2. Click on update info
3. Scroll down to more about you ( birthday, quotes, family >)
4. Click on it
5. Scroll down to Basic info and click edit
6. On your birthday, by the right click the box
7. Select "only me and it comes with a padlock
8. Scroll down and save
